India’s top Junior who is ranked 19th in the world, partnering Prapti Sen bagged a Bronze medal for India in the most prestigious ITTF World junior Circuit China Open Table tennis Championship in Shanghai. This is the first time India has won medal in China open and therefore the performance of these two girls is to be highly appreciated.
On their way to semi finals, the Indian pair beat Korea 3-0, followed by 3-0 win over Taipei. They however lost to host China in the semis to claim Bronze medal for their team India. Swastika’s father and Coach Sandeep Ghosh was more than happy to share this news with magzmumbai .
