Khar Gymkhana ‘s Sanjiti Saha were one of the three individual record breakers as she won the 100m butterfly event in the girls Group II category in the GMAAA Junior and Sub-junior Aquatic meet, sponsored by Glenmark Aquatic Foundation at Tata Swimming Pool, Chembur, here today. Sanjiti clocked 01:09.12 secs, while bettering Rujuta Bhatt’s 2010 record of 01:09.12 secs.
In group I, Kareena Shanka, of Forest Club, among girls and Vendant Bapna of Glenmark Aquatic Foundatiion among boys set new marks in their respective 100m breast stroke (01:20.08 secs), thus improving Monique Gandhi’s 2010 record. While, Vedant too improved upon his own 2010 50m backstroke timing of 00:29.08 by clocking 00:28.47 secs.

BOYS (Gr I): 50m Back Stroke: Vedant Bapna (GAF) – 00:28.47 secs. (Old record – 00:29.08 secs.
GIRLS (Gr I): 100m Breast Stroke: Kareena Shanka (Forest Club )- 01:20.08 secs. (Old record – 01:21.73 secs.
GIRLS (Gr II): 100m Butterfly Stroke: Sanjiti Saha (Khar Gym)- 01:09.12 secs. (Old record – 01:09.84 secs.
GIRLS (Gr II): 4x50m Medley Relay : Otters Team A – 02:18.47 secs. (Old record – 02:23.11 secs.
