Bandra Heroes beat Shivaji Park Warriors by five wickets, but their concluding Super League tie was like a dress rehearsal for the final of the Mitsui Shoji T-20 League-Season-8, at Mumbai Police Gymkhana ground at Marine Lines here today. For both finalists, it will be their maiden crack at the Mitsui T20 trophy. The final between the two will be played at the same venue under floodlights on Monday (May 13).
While the other tie between last year’s finalists Mumbai Police Cityriders and Thane Marathas , resulting in winning by 7 wickets for the former , turned out to be small consolation for the Police outfit.
