Opening batsman Usaid Cutlerywala batted steadily in scoring 69 runs and medium pacer Karan Tiwari bowled well to finish with impressive bowling figures of four for 31 runs, and their combined efforts guided Souvenir Cricket Club to a comprehensive 82 runs win against Marvari Cricket Club in a first round match of the 70th Nawab Salar Jung Invitation T20 Cricket Tournament 2019 and played at the Islam Gymkhana ground.

Later Usaid and number seven bat Akshay Ambire (18 runs not out) put on 43 quick runs in 4.3 overs to boost the Souvenir innings which closed at 185 for 7 wickets. Medium pacer Imran Haq (2 for 21), and off spinners Aman Farooqi (2 for 34) and Kabir Ahmeed (2/31) were the Marvari bolwers who got the wickets.
In reply, Marvari CC started positively as left-handed batsman Ehsan Ahmeed struck a 35-ball 47 runs but with not much support from the other batsmen they badly fell short of their target. Medium pacer Karan Tiwari caused all the damage taking 4 for 31 to secure Souvenir’s big win.
