Millat FC dished out a determined fighting performance to record a narrow 2-1 win against Kenkre FC in a well-contested Elite Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra.
Striker Adnan Ishke provided Milliat with the initial advantage when he scored the opening goal in the 28th minute. But, Kenkre fought back and managed to restore parity when Yash Mhatre scored the equalizer in the 40th minute and both the teams went into the break on level terms at 1-all.
In the second period, both teams created scoring opportunities before Millat finally found success at the death when consistent scorer Dylan Monteiro scored the decisive winner in the third minute of additional period to secure Millat a close win.
