Union Bank of India( UBI) scored a hard-fought 1-0 win against Mumbai Customs in an Elite Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the Cooperage ground on Thursday.
In an evenly balanced and keenly contested encounter, the Union Bank outfit who showed more urgency managed to score the decisive winner through Paintal’s Saini’s effort in the 39th minute and go into the lead with a slender 1-0 advantage.
Thereafter, Union Bank defended stoutly and managed to hang onto the lead to emerge winners.
