Karnatak Sporting Association were in tremendous striking form and stormed to a thumping 8-0 win against Salcette FC in a lop-sided Elite Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the Cooperage ground.
The Karnatak SA outfit showed perfect understanding and excellent teamwork and scored at regular intervals to knock the fight out of their opponents.
Strikers Roger Sam, Johnson D’Silva, Astle Pereira and Francisco Dominic struck two goals apiece to round off the winning tally.
In another match, U.Mumba FC got the better of Mumbai Strikers by a close 1-0 margin. Henderson Dias netted the decisive winner.
