Opportunistic strikers Tarique Ansari and Reuben Fernandes both showed excellent finishing touches and scored fine hat-tricks to power JMJ Sports Club to an emphatic 7-1 7-1 win against Blitzkrieg SC in a First Div play-off match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra. Kiran Jadhav netted the seventh goal to complete JMJ Sports Club’s winning tally. Blitzkreig got their consolation goal through Kasif Siddiqui.
Meanwhile, U Mumba FC scored a thumping 6-0 win against Sellebrity SC in an Elite Division league match at the Cooperage ground. Karan Kapoor scored three goals, Henderson Dias struck two and Digvijay Yadav netted one to seal U Mumba’s big win.
