Indian Girls Swastika Ghosh and Manushree Patil began well in the team event at the ITTF Baharin Open World Jr / Cadet Table Tennis Championship at Manama Baharin. Both of them bagged Silver medal for India in Jr.Girls team event. They First beat Mixed Team 3-0, then Egypt 1 Team 3-1,and Egypt 2 team 3-1 ,but lost to Russia in the Final . Russia had won Bronze medal in World Championship at Australia last month.
There are big expectations from Indian juniors, as the individual and Double event start from today. With Swastika securing World rank 32 in Girls, there are great expectations from her too. And not to forget our other promising juniors, who are also expected to do well.
