Colaba Sports Academy showed good teamwork and completely dominated play to blank Jupiter FC 7-0 in a lopsided First Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2018-2019 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground, Bandra on Wednesday. The hero of Colaba’s big win was Abhishek Bhosle who struck four goals including a fine hat-trick, while Rohan Pagdhare played a good supporting role with two strikes and Chitresh Tandel got one to round off the winning tally.
The Colaba Academy lads displayed good understanding and coordination and opened the scoring through Bhosle in the very eight minute. The dashing striker Bhosle scored two more goals in the 29th and 36th minutes to complete his hat-trick, while Pagdhare got his first goal in the 39th minute to give the Colaba side a 4-0 half-time cushion.
After changing sides, the Academy boys scored three more goals through Tandel (64th minute), Bhosle (66th minute) and Pagdhare (70th minute) to complete the margin of victory.
