For the holders it was the batting of Aditya Giri (67) and Sachin Upadhyay (51) together with fine bowling by medium pacer Jitendra Paliwal (3/26), which paved the way for their victory. For the losers, only Pratik Mhatre excelled with gritty 70.
While in the adjoining ground, JSF, chasing a meage MCC (Green) score of 101, made heavy weather before scrambling to two wicket win in a low scoring tie. For JSF , spinner Ashray Patil shone in ball with four for 12 tobundle out ‘Green’ for 101.
