Archit Morvekar from MLWB (Maharashtra Labour Welfare Board) and Siya Devrukhar from Vile Parle’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Swimming pool were the outstanding swimmers in their respective under-9 sections in the GAF-GMAAA Lower Age Group Swim meet, conducted by Glenmark Aquatic Foundation at Dharavi Sports Complex swimming pool, here today. The top honours in the under-8 categories went to Tiara Singh of Goregaon Sports Club and Shray Bhalia (Celebration Club).

Archit won three golds, one silver and one bronze to aggregate 29 points, while Siya Devrukhkar, who had created a new mark last year in the 50m breaststroke, however, ended with 31 points with four golds (but could not set any new record), 1 bronze to top the girls under-9 section.
INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONS:
GIRLS (9 yrs): Siya Devrukhkar (CSMSS)– 31 pts –(4 golds + 1 bronze).
BOYS (9 yrs): Archit Morvekar (MLWB)–29 pts-(3 golds+2 silver+1 bronze).
GIRLS (8 yrs): Tiara Singh (GSC)- 22 pts- (2 golds+1 silver + 1 bronze).
BOYS (8 yrs): Shray Bhalia (Celebration Club) – 22 pts- (2 golds+1 silver + 1bronze).
GIRLS (7 yrs): Aditi Haryan (MGMO) – 22 pts- (2 golds+1 silver + 1 bronze).
BOYS (7 yrs): Dron Palande (Matunga Gym) and Kabir Khubchandani (Khar Gym) – – 20 pts – 1 gold+2 silver+ 1 bronze).
