WCG Rink football
Good Shepherd ‘B’, Andheri registered a hard-fought 3-2 win against Holy Family ‘D’, Andheri in an exciting Men’s second round match of the Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana organized 31st Inter-Parish 5-a-side Rink Football Tournament – 2018 for the Victor D’Mello Trophy and played under floodlights at the gymkhana’s tennis courts.
In a match of fluctuating fortunes, Good Shepherd scored through the efforts of Clinton D’Souza, Marshall D’Souza and Shawn D’Souza to secure their win, while Holy Family managed two strikes through Rahul Mane and Sunny Nazareth.
In another match, Our Lady of Salvation ‘B’, Dadar blanked Sacred Heart ‘B’, Santacruz 3-0. Striker Craig D’Souza netted two goals and Stranlon Trinidade got one to complete the win.
