Rahul Kadam, of Gupta Sports Academy, who won 400 and 800m golds , bagged the men’s individual honours,while Aishwarya Mishra, of Abhuday Sports Academy,winner of the 400m, took the top honours in the women’s section in the Mumbai Suburban District Athletics championships, ,held at Sports Authority of India at their centre at Kandivali (East) here today.
While Sports Authority of India with 72 points took the men’s team championship honours, Goenka Education Trust, who dominated the women’s section (53 points), also claimed the overall championships with 92 points.
Riya Pradhan from Speedsters Club, won the 800 and 1500 metres in the girls under-18. In the girls under-20, Antima Gupta, from SAI,Kandivali, took the sprint double.While in the boys under-20 , Sahebjeet Singh,from Speedsters Club, won golds in the 800m and 1500m events.
