Shreya Bhat and Jennifer Coutinho, both notched up hat-tricks in leading their respective teams to victories in the Women’s matches of the MDFA Leagues 2017-18 and played at the Bombay Gymkhana ground, on Friday.
The dashing striker Shreya scored three goals and Saakshi Gurav netted two as Somaiya SA blanked Mumbai Strikers 5-0.
In another match, Jennifer did the star turn scoring three times as Mumbai Rush trounced Oscar Foundation 7-0. Mayuri Morey, Ruqqaiya Shaikh, Tannushree Shetty and Riya D’Souza, all chipped in with one each to complete the margin of victory.
