MDFA Div-II football report
Maurya Youngsters FA proved to good as they blanked Castle Boys SC 3-0 in a Second Division play-off match of the MDFA Leagues 2017-18 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel. The Maurya Youngsters called the shots from the start and striker Keegan Fernandes scored the first goal in the 16thminute. Later, Akash Indulakar struck two quick goals in the 60th and 62nd minutes which secured the second straight win teh Youngsters.
In another match, Millat FC got the better of Lakers FC by a close 3-2 margin. Saalik Khan netted a brace of goals and Faraz Khan got one for the victors, whi;e Lakers scored through Rupesh Shetty and Divesh Shetty.
Results – Div-II Play-off league: Millat FC ‘B’ 3 (Saalik Khan 2, Faraz Khan) beat Lakers FC 2 (Rupesh Shetty, Divesh Shetty).

O’sheish FA 1 (Hamzad Banaji) drew with Mother Theresa Foundation 1 (Bhavesh Koli).
