Shivaji Park Gymkhana-SPG is organizing SPG-LIC T-20 cricket tournament in the loving memory of our two stalwart cricketers Late Vijay Manjarekar & Late Ramakant Desai, from 22nd to 25th March, 2018 from 9.00am onwards at Shivaji Park Gymkhana Ground, Dadar-West, Mumbai-28. In this tournament, renowned 10 cricket teams , namely: defending champion National Cricket Club, Karnataka Sports Association, Mumbai Police Gymkhana, Dr. D.Y.Patil Sports Association, Payyade Sports Club, Parkofin Cricket Club, New Hind, Dadar Union Sporting Club, Sind Sports Club & our SPG team are participating for winning the prestigious memorable title trophy along with a cash prize of Rs.1,00,000/-.
The inaugural match between D.Y.Patil sports Club Vs. Parkofin Cricket Club will be played on 22nd March @9.00am in the presence of former Indian Test Cricketer Mr. Ramesh Powar, our President former India Test cricketer Pravin Amare, Chairman Avinash Kamat, General Secretary Sanjeev Khanolkar, Assistant General Secretary Sunil Ramchandran, Cricket Secretary Padmakar Shivalkar. The Final Round Match of this tournament is scheduled on 25th March 2018 @2.00pm & followed by Prize Distribution Programme in presence of Mr. Dilip Vengsarkar, former Captain of Indian cricket team. Quarter Final Matches & Semi Final Matches will be played on 23rd & 24th March respectively.
