O’sheish FC carved out a close 2-1 win against Future Star FC in the Third Division final of the MDFA Leagues 2017-18 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel. The final was a close affair and witnessed a keen battle for supremacy and the scores were level 1-all at the end of the first session.

O’sheish took an early lead when their consistent scorer Faizan Shaikh hit the target in the sixth minute. But their joy was cut short as four minutes later Nandeep Keer struck Future Star’s equaliser and the teams went into the break on level terms. However, immediately on resumption O’sheish scored through Shervin Sooren to once again take the lead, which they managed to hold on to till the final whistle to emerge champions.
Earlier in the third place match, Judean United SC got the better of Karnatak Sporting Association by a narrow 1-0 margin. Prakash Singh netted the lone goal to seal Judean’s victory.
