Vaibhav Jadhav lone strike helped IDBI Bank record a narrow 1-0 win against PIFA Under-17 in a First Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel. In a keenly fought match, Jadhav struck the crucial winning goal in the 38th minute to secure IDBI’s victory and the three points.
Earlier in a second division encounter, Mother Theresa Foundation scored twice in the first half to blank IIT Bombay ‘A’ 2-0. Kringel Garodia scored the first goal in the 11th minute and Godson Patil netted the second in the 34th minute to complete the scoreline.
