Leading from the front striker Darshan Jagtap struck a fine hat-trick to steer SRS Sporting to a 5-0 win against Friends United in a Second Division match of the MDFA League 2017-2018 and played at the St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel on Friday. Jagtap’s partner upfront Ashish Dage scored the other two goals to complete the winning tally for Sporting.
In another match, Das Football Academy got the better of Samuel Football Academy. Aditya Jambhle and Ethard Fernandes scored one goal each for the winners, while Samuel FA pulled one back through Dayyan Ansari.
