India has organised Test Kho-Kho Three matches series between India & England. India has won the 1st Kho-Kho match that was conducted at R. F. Naik’s ground at Airoli, Navi Mumbai on Saturday evening 8:30 PM. Match was played on mat & India won the match by 5 points.
India win first Kho Kho match against England to begin the series.
1st time in Kho-Kho European country, England has played in Maharashtra, India. In this match England won the toss & elected defence. Indian player played well in this match & India earned 25 point & England scored only 20 points. India registered 1st successive victory.
The match was fast paced and well contested as both sides went hammer and tongs at each other. It was the superior speed, strength and staying power of India that proved decisive. The winners Suresh sawant lead from India by defending for 2:00 minutes, and claiming five victims. He received good support from V. Naveen Kumar (1.20, 1:00 minutes and two victims) and Sribin K. P. (1.00 minutes and 1.50 minutes). For England, Nikunj Depala tried to avoid the inevitable with his defensive play. He stayed for 1:00, 1:00 minutes in both inning besides two victims. He received good support from Sachin Soma (1:00 minutes and five victims) & Rohit Haldania (1:10 minutes and Three victims).
In this series second match will be played at BAV Collage, Ajamera, Rajastan on 2nd Feb 2017 & third match will be played in Adharshila Vidyapith, CD Block, New Delhi on 4th Feb 2017.
