Upendra Mulye,Vivek Alwani & Avinash Joshi won the individual singles titles in their respective age groups at the 5th Maharashtra State Veterans Table Tennis Tournament, 2016, Nagpur, which concluded on Sunday 18th November 2016. The tournament was organised by Nagpur District Table Tennis Association.

In the 65+ men’s event Deepak Dudhane won the title, while the women’s titles in their respective groups were won by Dr.Anagha Joshi ( Mumbai Suburbs), Trupti Machave ( Thane) and Rajeshwari Mehetre( Mumbai Suburbs).
Avinash Joshi
Though Upendra Mulye and Anagha Joshi scored easy victories in semi finals and finals , Vivek Alwani had a tough time in the semi finals against Guru Nadgouda before winning at 7/11,12/10,11/8,8/11,11/5 in the 50+ group. Avinash Joshi also narrowly won his 60+ finals opposite Suhas Dandekar.
