Sehwag signs up with Dunamis

India’s swashbuckling former opening batsman Virender Sehwag has entered into a new partnership in his post-retirement innings with an eye on creating many more new records in the annals of Indian cricket. He has signed up with the country’s premier sports and entertainment Management company, Dunamis Sportainment to handle all his public appearances and brand endorsements.Dunamis

Undoubtedly one of the most feared willow-wielders during his playing days, Viru, as he is lovingly called by his multitude of fans, has endeared himself even without padding up with his witty quips and snazzy repartees to friends and critics in social media. Just like he wasn’t scared of any bowler in between the 22 yards, he doesn’t baulk at breaking down stereotypes and taking swipes at the society’s ills.

This makes him a star and role model in the truest sense which prompted Dunamis Sportainment to rope him in. They already have another star cricketer in a similar mould, Chris Gayle, in their list, making this an all-conquering partnership.

“Viru is one of the most popular cricketers in the country,” CEO of Dunamis Abhishek Misra said, while revealing the development. “He has been a dynamic batsman and even today he bags more endorsement deals than most current cricketers, a solid testimony to his timeless appeal,” he added.

Abhishek stressed that this signing underlines Dunamis’ status as one of the country’s fastest growing player and celebrity management enterprise.

“I look forward to a long and fruitful partnership,” Sehwag said in his inimitable style. “Dunamis is a well-managed company with a skilled set of professionals. I am sure together we will deal in fours and sixes rather than ones and two,” he added, with a sparkle in his eye.

Sehwag has recently become the brand ambassador for the inaugural Ten Premier League in Sharjah. A 100-Test man with as many as 23 centuries to his credit, including two triple centuries and four doubles, has graduated into a seasoned commentator in his second innings. His forthrightness and rustiness has seen him trend on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook on a regular basis.

With Dunamis at the helm of brand Viru now, fans can look forward to seeing their favourite star in many more appearances and avatars going forward.
