Leroy Almeida was in fine striking form and netted a fine hat-trick to lead HDFC Bank to comfortable 3-0 win against Soccer XI in a Super Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the Goans Sports Association ground, Cross Maidan on Sunday.
Almeida netted the first goal in the 43rd minute and later added two more in the second period scoring in the 56th and 65th minutes to complete HDFC Bank’s victory.
Meanwhile, St. Paul’s SC and Miners SC shared honours as they were engaged in a tame goalless draw.
