Displaying great resilience and solid fighting qualities Salcette FC overcame Millat FC 2-1 in a gruelling Super Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the Mumbai Football Arena, Shahaji Raje Bhosale Kreeda Sankul-BKLP (Andheri Sports Complex) on Thursday evening.
Adnan Ishke put Millat in front with a 19th minute strike but Salcette fought back in the second period and scored two late goals through Vikas Bhatt in the 76th minute and Mohit Rau in the fifth minute of additional period.
