Promoted outfit Reserve Bank of India(RBI) squandered a healthy 2-0 first half lead and were forced to drop two valuable points as they were held to a 2-2 draw by a spirited and determined Income Tax in a Super Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the Mumbai Football Arena, Shahaji Raje Bhosale Kreeda Sankul-BKLP (Andheri Sports Complex) on Friday evening.
Reserve Bank started on an attacking note and their ace striker Abhishek Ambekar fired them in front in the 16th minute. Ambekar was again on target scoring the second in the 34th minute.
Income Tax came back strongly in the second half and scored twice through Ralston Miranda in the 54th minute and Raj Trivedi in the 88th minute to snatch an honourable draw.
