Local Golfers and Hyderabad Golf Association (HGA) members Sankeerth Nidadavolu and Sumon Chintala staved off tough challenge in their respective handicap categories to emerge victorious in the Hyderabad leg of the Volvo World Golf Challenge tournament being played at the HGA here on Friday. They both had identical scores of 39 points and it was enough to confirm their birth in the National Final of Volvo World Golf Challenge India. They will now compete in the National Final to be held at Greater Noida on December 3, 2016.
The Volvo World Golf Challenge 2016 will witness competitive corporate golfing action in 8 cities engaging over 1000 golfers with winners of each leg qualifying for the National Final.
It was an affair that combined sports along with opulence to make the golfers experience the distinction offered by more than 90 participants attending the event. From Hyderabad the event will move to, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chandigarh and Delhi. The national final will see 16 regional round winners playing to book a spot in the World Final, the Indian National Final winner will compete with 39 other Countries in South Africa in June 2017.
