Sea View scored twice in the second period to register a comfortable 2-0 win against Mumbai Port Trust in a First Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2016-2017, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel.
After a barren first session, Sea View’s inspirational midfielder Agnelo Fernandes produced two brilliant, defence splitting passes which led to the goals. Strikers Varun P.V. and Harshil Somaiya, both cashed in on those chances and made no mistake in scoring a goal each to guide Sea View to victory.
In another match, Atlanta FC had things much their own way as they blanked Madanpura SC by a whopping 7-0 margin. R. D’Souza scored four goals and A. Fernandes struck three to complete the tally of goals.
