After a barren first session, Manan Shaikh netted the crucial winning goal to help Friends United secure a win and pocket the full three points.
In another encounter of the same division, Athens XI struck good form to record a convincing 2-0 win over Falcon Brother, Mulund. Strikers Sagar Soni and Amit Charak netted a goal each to complete the win for Athens XI.
