Siddharth Thakur ad Vaishnavi Bhale will have pride of place among the men and women in the 2nd Maharashtra State Selection Badminton Tournament, being organised by Goregaon SC from August 31 to September 3 at their premises.

The event will see representation from all 28 districts of the state and has received 295 entries in six events.
Nigel D’Sa is the men’s second seed, while Neha Pandit has the honour among women.
The pairing of Eshan Naqvi and Varun Khanvilkar are the top seeds in the men’s doubles, while the mixed doubles will be spearheaded by Sameer Bhagwat and Gauri Ghate.
The State level Umpires examination will also be conducted during the event.
