Twice in arrears Sterkem Pharma SC fought back to force a 2-2 draw with Colaba Football Academy in an exciting Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2015-2016, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Tuesday evening.
The young Colaba outfit took the lead with Keval Pagdani finding the net in the 28th minute to give his side a slender 1-0 half-time advantage. The Pharma side came back fighting after the break and restored parity through Rohan Jadhav’s strike in the 41st minute.
The enterprising Colaba team regained the lead through Chitresh Tandel’s goal in the 50th minute, but once again Sterkem Pharma managed to find the equaliser when Vishnu Maulik hit the target in the 66th minute of play.
