Striker Navin Koli scored the lone winning goal in the second half to enable KSP Hydro overcome Indigo Sports Club by a narrow 1-0 margin in a Second Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2015-2016, and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Wednesday.
In another match of the same division, Sagar Sports Club had things much their own way as they romped to a comfortable 3-0 win against Larsen & Toubro SC. Combining well as a team, Sagar scored the opening goal through Yogesh Meher in the 26th minute to go into the break with a slender 1-0 lead. After changing ends, Sagar scored two more goals in the second period, through Roshan Jadhav in the 36th minute and Hemant Shaikh in the 45th minute to run away with the match.
