Challengers FC showed plenty of grit and determination as they pulled off a narrow 3-2 win over Remackyn SA in a third round league match of the inaugural Borivali Premier Football League (BPFL), organized by the Borivali Sports Foundation, and played at the St. Francis D’Assisi Ground, Borivali (W).

In a well-contested encounter, strikers Mahesh Poojary, Prathamesh Mulchandani and Rushabh Lalit, all struck a goal each to secure the win for Challengers, while Remackyn’s got their goals through Denny John and Brendon D’Souza. The ‘BIG BOSS’ of the match award was won by Prathamesh Mulchandani of Challengers.
In another league match, super striker Agnelo Picardo scored four goals, including a fine hat-trick to power Tigers FC to a roaring 6-1 win against Shelar FC. Tushar Poojary netted the other two goals for Tigers, while Nihar Mhaske got the lone goal for Shelar FC. Agnelo Picardo was declared BIG BOSS of the match.
