The well balanced side of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) represented by hard hitters Rajesh Mudam, Atmaram Gangurde, Rajesh Mudam & Ketan Palwankar started off well on the first day of their MCDTTA Inter Office table tennis League, which began today evening. In their first match, the BMC men beat Air India ‘B’ in a hard fought match , which was extended to 5 matches.

For Air India, Aniruddh Marathe displayed a grand show, winning both his matches. But, Anil rasam, Atmaram Gangarde & Rajesh Mudam managed to win their crucial matches to record 3-2 win . Earlier, BMC team had recorded 3-1 victory over NIA .
Incidentally, Air India have two teams in the First division and their ‘A’ team also defeated their ‘B’ team 3-0 , in another league match. Air India ‘A’ also defeated MBPT ‘B’ 3-0 keeping their hopes alive, while MBPT ‘A’ defeated MBPT ‘B’ 3-0 in another league match played today evening.
