Student YMCA ‘D’ team scored a narrow 3-2 win over their tough looking rivals MLWB-KKB’C’ team, in the Section of 3rd Division MCDTTA Inter Club league. This enables the YMCA team to remain in the race, as they take on PJ Hindu Gymkhana ‘F’ team on Thursday evening. Incidentally, the YMCA team has lost their ‘Away’ match to PJ Hindu Gymkhana ‘F’ team 2-3.But, now they have an advantage of playing on their home ground.
Student YMCA team recorded a narrow victory over MLWB-KKB team today in the MCDTTA 3rd division Inter Club Table Tennis league.
In the meanwhile PJ Hindu Gymkhana ‘F’ team continued with their winning run, recording their 4th consecutive victory over Garware Club ‘B’, in their ‘Away’ match today evening. All their three players namely, Ulhas Shirke, Rajesh Pandit & J.D. Maheshwari won their respective matches, to give their team a 3-0 victory over their opponents.
In Section B 3rd division match PJ Hindu Gymkhana E’ team represented by Prejeet Nananavare, Rushi kapadia, Samihan Kulkarni & Aditya Shinde also won their 4th match with 3-0 win over CCI team. After losing their two matches to CCI team, PJ Hindu Gymkhana ‘D’ team recovered to beat Garware ‘A’ team in the Section A of 2nd division, but PJ Hindu Gymkhana ‘C’ team suffered the first setback today evening, when their strong combination of Suhas Kulkarni, Pinakin Sampat and Jayant Kulkarni, lost their first match against MLWB-KKB ‘ 1-3. So, it was a mixed fortune for the Hindu Gymkhana teams today, as their G’ team also lost their match in the 4th division.
