Sea Siders SC came up with a strong fighting display to put it across Vivekananda SC by a tight 2-1 margin in a Third Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2015-2016 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Friday. Strikers Abhishek Jadhav and Nidhi Pawar scored a goal each to help Sea Siders secure the win and collect the full three points. Vivekanand reduced the margin through Yash Samani.
In another match, BPCL Marketing got the better of Young Boys SC by a narrow 1-0 margin. Bapu D. netted the all-important wining goal.
