A triple strike by mercurial Tushar Nikam saw Vikhroli’s EL Shaddai outplaying fancied Air-India 3-0 in the final of the of the inaugural Rink Football tournament, organized by the Ministry Of Sports And Youth Affairs under their Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan at Sports Authority of India Sports Complex at Kandivali here today. Stronger and faster Shaddai outfit just did not give any chance to their rivals any time in the final. Tushar struck the first goal in the first half and added two more in the second half to complete unnerve the Air-India boys.

Even earlier Air –India were made to fight hard by MR Football Club before they triumphed by a solitary goal in the semifinals, while EL Shaddai Utd, a Vikhroli outfitThrashed Lalit Sports Club 4-1. Aniket Chavan and V. Shrikant scored a through a brace each, while their lone consolation goal for the losers came through courtesy one of the Air-India players, who pushed the ball in his own goalpost.
