Ruffians SC ‘A’ scored a hard-fought 2-1 win against GKW Rangers ‘B’ in a keenly contested Third Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2015-2016 and played at St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Saturday. Strikers Avelino Farria and Daniel Fernandes scored a goal each to secure the win for Ruffians, while Rangers pulled one back through Sagar P.
Ansh Travels scored an identical 2-1 win over Chheda Nagar Juniors in another match of the same division. Ashish P and Sanket S netted a goal apiece for the winners, while Sumeet B. got the lone goal for the losers.
