Exhibiting superb scoring touch, striker Leandro Reveredo notched up a fine hat-trick to guide Milan Football Academy to a fighting 3-2 win against a spirited Alfa Football Academy in a Third Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2015-2016 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Sunday. For the Alfa FA side Ashfaque Baki and Girish Jadhav scored a goal each.
In another match of the same division, Alfresco SC riding on the efforts of Allan D’Souza, Wayne Almeida and Nikhil Patel, all netting a goal each, romped to a facile 3-0 win against FC Mithagar.
In the third match of the day, Kundan Chandra scored a brace of goals as Football Leaders SC blanked Juhu Beach United 4-0. Ravindra Kanojia and Prakash Surve contributed a goal each towards Leaders win.
