Popular actor of Marathi stage, television and Marathi & Hindi films, Janardan Parab is no more. He is survived by son Sarvesh , who is a film director, daughter in law and grandchildren. Having performed as an actor for the past forty years, he had kept himself away from films, for some time, due to ill health. But, he bounced back and was seen last, in a Marathi film ‘Cinderella’ released few months ago.

Some of his Bollywood films were ‘ kasam’, ‘Shikari’, ‘Elaan’, Jiddhi’, ’Krantiveer’, ‘China Gate’, ‘Udaan’, ‘Bazigar’,’Nayak’, ‘Ghulaam’ and others. He had already completed shooting of forthcoming Bollywood film ‘Banjo’, directed by Ravi Jadhav, in which he plays an important role of a character called ‘Statue’. Incidentally, Mr.Parab had completed his part of shooting.
