Indian bowlers spoil the show

It is never easy to play West Indies, especially in the semi finals. They are very good fighters, when it comes to chasing the target. No wonder, after winning the toss, they decided to field first. And, their strategy worked. Though Indian batsmen did very well with good batting coming from Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli and M.S.Dhoni, putting up a massive total of 192 , with all the five batsmen doing well,  the West Indian batsmen hammered the attack of Indian bowlers.Indian Cricket

Barring some good bowling by Jaspreet Bumrah and Ashish Nehra, who also conceded more runs, the main bowlers  Ashwin , Jadeja and Hardik Pandya were hammered by West Indies batsmen. Watching their poor show, Indian captain didn’t know how to hide them. So, he gave two overs to Virat Kohli, including the last over, only to concede the match.

One thing the West Indies batsmen showed to Indians , was even if their star batsman Chris Gayle failed, their other batsmen were always there to fire. The West Indies team beat India by 7 wickets. Now, over to Kolkatta to witness the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 finals between England and West Indies.  Incidentally, their Women’s team is also into the Finals of ICC T20 Women’s World Cup.  Lendl Simmons was declared the man of the match for his superb show. By the way, he was out twice on no balls bowled by our careless bowlers. After the match the Indian captain, instead of praising West Indies batsmen, gave an excuse of dew, coming in the way of  spinners. And, that was not fair.
