Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF) fought back to hold Western Railway to a 1-1 draw in an Elite Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) league 2015-2016, and played at the Cooperage ground on Monday.
The railwaymen took of f on the right track and grabbed the lead with Ravikant Naidu finding the back of the net in the seventh minute. RCF putting up a good fight managed to score the equalizer through Kenneth DeSena in the 48th minute.
There will be no Elite Division match at this venue on Tuesday and Wednesday. The next round will be played on between Mumbai Customs and ONGC on Thursday, February 25 at 2.00 pm.
Result – Elite Division: Western Railway 1 (Ravikant Naidu 7th) drew with Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers 1 (Kenneth DeSena 48th).
