RAVSWS instant football from13thFeb


Fast paced and exciting matches will be witnessed during the two-day 7-a-side instant football tournament, organized by RAVSWS (Radhamohanpur Ramakrishsna Vivekananda Social Welfare Society) at St. Francis D’Assisi High School Ground, Borivali. A total of 48 teams will be contending to become champions in this tournament to be played on Saturday, February 13 and Sunday, February 14, 2016. The first match will start at 9.30 am.

Sukumar Paik, Secretary of RAVSWS and the organizing committee has assured the champion team a grand prize of Rs one lakh along with a prominent Champion Trophy and Rs 50,000 for the losing team of the final. The two losing semi-final teams will get Rs 15,000 each and the four losing quarter-final teams will get Rs 5,000 each.

Deepak N. Rao, the Chief Coordinator of the tournament said that besides the main Trophies and prizes, there is individual trophy for ‘Best Forward’, ‘Best Midfielder’, Best Defender’, Best Goal Keeper’ and ‘Player of the Tournament’.

RAVSWS is an NGO – established in 2000, that has been actively perceiving education for under-privileged, rescue & rehabilitation of orphaned children and abandoned elderly. The RAVSWS programme is focused in three states – West Bengal, Delhi, Mumbai (Maharashtra).
