A fine performance by Bombay under-16 Yashsvi Jaiswal featured in MCC(Red)’s win over Jwala Sports Founation for their first victory in three outings so far in the five-team double-leg Twister-MCC-Pro40 League-season-3 at the Oval Maidan here today.

Lanky Yashsvi, playing his first match after representing Mumbai under-16 in the all India tourney at Bangalore, hit up 70 with 10 fours in MCC(Red)’s total of 209 for four. Raunak Singh, too, did his contribution with well made 58 as they chased down Jwala Sports Foundation score of 208 . For Jwala outfit, Sachin Upadhyay (42), Yogesh Ghatvikar (39) and Shivaji Yadav (28) were the main run-getters.The bowling honours went to Rushikesh Toraskar, who captured four for 36 in eight overs. Yshsvi was adjudged the man of the match.
In another tie of the day, MCC (Blue) suffered their second defeat at the hands of Twister Sports by three wickets. MCC( Blue), who batted first were shot out for 109 with Harshad Khedekar bagged the man of the match award for his five- wicket hall.
