Lynette Lobo of has been appointed as the captain of the Mumbai Girls’ team, that will participate in the Hockey India conducted 6th Sub-Junior Girls’ National Hockey Championship to be played at Nagaon, Assam from January 5 to 13, 2016.
The 18-member Mumbai squad was selected after the probable candidates were put through long and strenuous selection trials, which was conducted and supervised by renowned coaches at the MHAL Stadium over the past couple of weeks.
Sharmin Bassha of N.M. College will be the chief coach of the Mumbai team while Yeshoda Patil will accompany the team as manager.
The Mumbai team is currently playing some practice matches before their departure onJanuary 1, 2016.
