Carl Serrao (DG) playing with a handicap of -70 struck a purple patch to roll in 3 useful breaks (54, 44 and 46 unfinished) to defeat Mahadev Bhogle (JVPG) with a -100 handicap, by a massive 200-0 margin in the knockout (race to 200 points) match of the SPG-Park Club Billiards Tournament – 2015, which is being jointly organised by the Shivaji Park Gymkhana and Park Club.

Rohan Jambusaria (MCF, handicap -140) was another player who hit top form and also made 3 big breaks (84, 79, 50) to score a win against Chandu Kansodaria (MCF, handicap -100) by 200-193 points. Both Serrao and Jambusaria have qualified for the next phase of the competition.
In two tense games, Raghav Agrawal (PJHG, handicap -70) defeated Prabdeep Singh (MIG, handicap -80) by 200-195 points and Sanjiv Bijlani (PCL, handicap -70) scored over K.K. Bhatia (PJHG, handicap -70) 200-192, to also qualify for the next round.
Raj Khandwala (CCI, handicap -80) and Vishal Gehani (PCL, handicap -100), both scored easy victories in this round. Khandwala raced to a 200-113 win over Anurag Bagri (ECC, handicap -80) and Gehani outplayed Narendra Borkar (CRMI, handicap -60) by 200-89 scoreline.
