Defending champion K.K.Rai, with pen-holder, who had beaten Maharashtra top player Noel Pinto in the semi finals and Omkar Toprgalkar in the finals last year, will be defending title in the Khar Gymkhana- All India Hardbat table tennis qualifier for the 2nd World Championships of table tennis will be held in their premises from December 11 to 13. The event is being presented by Sports Reconnect.

The winner of Indian leg of the event will represent India in the World championship is scheduled to be held in London, in January/February next year.
