Captain Mithlesh Kasare opened the scoring for the Don Bosco side as soon as the match started with St Francis boys yet to find their feet. However, Johnson Mathews found the equalizer in the 7th minute. In the under-14 finals, Don Bosco boys could not break St Lawrence defence as the tie ended goalless at the regulation time. However, in the tie-breaker, Nishant Aronha, Nishant Gawade and Chris Coutinho succeeded in finding the target for the Don Bosco, while St Lawrence could find the net only twice.
