State Bank of India riding on Prithviraj Shetty’s twin strikes overcame Central Railway Mumbai Division (CRMD) by a 3-1 margin in a Super Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Monday morning. Shetty’s teammate Aniket Shigwan scored the third goal to seal State Bank’w win and the full three points. Asif Jamal netted the lone goal for the railway outfit.
Earlier in a First Division encounter, Bad Boys, Parel and St. Joseph’s, Juhu played out a thrilling 2-2 draw to share two points.
