Carmelites SC overcame Miners SC 2-0 in a First Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League – 2014-15, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Sunday morning. Strikers Smit Devkar and Amir Qureshi netted one goal each to complete the win for Carmelites ensure their team of the three points.
Later in a Super Division match played in the evening, Young Boys Dhobitalo and Millat FC were engaged in a goalless draw.
